SUBMISSION OF COMPUTER PRESENTATIONS Invited speakers are recommended to submit their Power-Point presentations to the lecture hall staff (aula.magna@lmc.su.se) for pre-conference test runs. As email subject give ICPEAC2003 and your family name. Please, name your file ICPEAC_day_name.ppt (for example ICPEAC_Tue_Anderson.ppt if Anderson is scheduled to speak on Tuesday). In case you use electronic submission, do not forget to bring a back up on CD-rom and/or a diskette. You will be notified about possible problems or, most likely, a successful test-run of your talk via e-mail before the conference. If you later want to make changes in your already submitted presentation you just submit a new version or bring it when you come to Stockholm. In the latter case, the new version has to be given to the organizers at the latest the day before your talk. For speakers who have submitted their presentations electronically the conference computer will be used. It is also possible to use your own computer, which is then positioned on a table close to the podium and connected to a four-way switch (four external computers may be hooked up at the same time) from which the speaker selects the signal from his/her computer to the beamer. Macs may also be used for such hook-ups, but only if they are equipped with a VGA-port. The deadline for electronic submission of computer presentations is July 16th 2003. ON-SITE PREVIEWS OF PRESENTATIONS There will be a small preview room available for speakers who want to go through their talk in advance. This room will be equipped with a beamer and a PC with CD-rom and diskette units as well as with a conventional OH-projector. | |||||||||
